I’m back everyone! I’m sorry that I was gone. I just kind of disappeared. See, first, my domain expired so then my host has to renew it. That took a little bit of time. Which was ok. Then my site was just gone and I contacted my host right away. It took a while, but my host recreated my website account. Except, he told me that he didn’t do any site back ups. So none of my files were saved.
I went to Jennifer because she had helped me build my website to start. I hoped maybe she had some of the files. She did. She had all of the original files. She didn’t have any of the MySQL file things though. :( So I was stuck again. I had the hard files, but not the database files. Then Jennifer reminded me about this plugin she had demanded me to install onto my site. It did database back ups. I had some of the MySQL files!
However, for some weird reason, it stopped backing files up on October 4th. So it didn’t have any files or posts after them. My last blog posts were lost. :( That made me sad. I guess its okay though. I’m more happy that my entire site isn’t just lost. I only lost a few blog posts. Its not a huge, biggie deal. I can live. :) I’m just glad my site is back. I learned a lesson with this. I learned to back up my files and to make sure that my back up plugin is up and working. :)
All the files aren’t here, but I’m glad my site is back. Now that my arm and stuff is better, I should be on and blogging again in no time. :)
I do have some bad news. I don’t have the main files for the themes or anything like that. I don’t know who all of my affies were or are. :( If you were an affie, talk to me. I’ll add you right back up! I’m sorry for just disappearing. :( I’m back now though. I’ll be more watchful and careful from now on though. I promise.
