My name is Nina Shannon and I’m currently 16 years old. My birthday is on May 12th, 1994, meaning that come May 12th, 2010 I’ll finally be 16 years old. At this time I’m in grade première.
All my life I have lived in France, also known as the country of love. I live with my somewhat crazy family of 4, myself, mum, dad, and my little annoying brother, Seth who is 13 years old as of um…I think the 28th of July.
I have been told that I am very outgoing but often very quiet. I’m not really sure how that works, but whatever you say. I am a pretty serious person and people usually think I’d be easily offended. I’m not, not usually anyway. I write about myself in the third person usually, maybe its a habit as a writer.
Most of the time I am trying and failing to be optimist but sadly find myself still seeing the world as a pessimist. I can’t decide if that’s a bad habit or just a bad way of thinking, or both. So I’ll leave it at that.
I spend most of my time writing and shopping. I do a lot of research into UFOs, aliens, and the underwater city of Atlantis. I really enjoy a good mystery, real or fake. With that said, I enjoy reading mystery stories. Any type mystery story really, based on something real or just something someone made up.
Now, I said that I like to write. You have most likely already guessed that I enjoy writing mystery stories. I really enjoy writing romance mysteries, often involving money and a person or persons going missing.
I’ve written almost 8 books, only 7 have been finished. I’m working on the 8th book now with help from my bate reader Kaylen. All of my books are about 37 to 48 or 49 chapters long but none of them have ever been published.
I spend too much time on my cell phone, weather its texting or talking I’m almost always on it. I have a blackberry that I love and would most likely go crazy without. My mum is always yelling at me about it, but I can’t help it.
At this time I’m looking into colleges and trying to decide what I want to go to college for. I think I want to go to college to be a lawyer or TV and computer repairer. I’m already pretty good at fixing things like electronics so I may major in that. I’m really looking into it.
A friend asked me today if I had a job. I do actually, it was originally only supposed to be a summer job, but I liked it enough to keep working, but I’m a only waitress. My friend suggested the job to me, she’s a waitress and really likes it so I decided to give it a try. Its not that bad, but I don’t like how some of the people who come in act.
For example, if their food isn’t cooked just right they get mad at me as if I’m the one who cooked it. Its really rude I think. I don’t appreciate it. Other then that I don’t really mind the job.
As a child I learned how to play the piano but I never liked it. It was kind of like a family tradition that everyone would learn how to play the piano and you could later switch to something else if you wanted. I stayed with the piano because I didn’t want to have to learn how to play anything else.
My parents say that I’m really good but I don’t think music can be good if there’s no heart behind it.
I guess I’ve officially bored you all to death, right? I’ll close this then and add no more. I hope this was at least a tiny bit interesting. If not, well, your loss.
